Hi, my name is Sara! I’m a second-year master's in counselling student at City University of Seattle in Vancouver. I will be completing my graduate practicum at the North Shore CBT Centre under the supervision of Dr. Susan Rai. Counselling sessions are available at a reduced rate and areoffered both in-person or online.

I came into this field because I genuinely care about supporting people, especially youth (8+) and adults, as they navigate the ups and downs that come with life.
I focus on creating a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. I take an integrative approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness, all grounded in a person-centered approach. I aim to meet you where you are, whether you are dealing with anxiety or depression, going through grief and loss, or facing a life transition.
With experience in outpatient mental health and crisis support, I aim to bring a calm, grounded presence to our sessions. I work collaboratively with clients to better understand what they are feeling, while also exploring practical tools you can use in your day-to-day life.
In my free time, I find balance in being outdoors. I love travelling and making the most of the North Shore lifestyle, whether that is skiing, climbing, or spending time by the water.
