SOLUTION FOCUSED THERAPY
Solution Focused Therapy is short term, goal oriented, and focused on the solution not the problem. This therapy is respectful, practical, and hopeful. If you are looking for solutions related to current life challenges at work, school, or in relationships, this might fit you.
EXPOSURE AND RESPONSE PREVENTION (ERP)
This is a type of CBT that has been proven effective in treating Obsessive Complusive Disorder (OCD). With your counsellor, you learn to confront the thoughts, images, objects and situations that make you anxious, while resisting the compulsion(s). This takes time and often some creativity! While OCD can be very unique, treatment typically takes 12-20 sessions.
