Florencia Cristoffanini, MA
Doctoral Practicum Student

 Accepting new clients

Hello! My name is Florencia, and I am currently a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Windsor. At the North Shore CBT Centre, I provide reduced-cost psychological assessments and therapy under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer Campbell, RPsych.

My focus is helping clients navigate emotional difficulties and build a meaningful and fulfilling life.

For psychological assessments, my goal is to help you identify your strengths and weaknesses and to provide recommendations that will enable you to pursue your academic and personal goals effectively. I view assessment as a tool to clarify your needs, guide potential treatment, and connect you with the supports that will help you thrive. I have worked with a diverse range of clients – including adolescents, young adults, and adults – addressing concerns related to specific learning disorders, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, chronic pain, and various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I conduct both psycho-educational and psycho-diagnostic assessments.

In therapy, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your difficulties, build self-understanding, develop effective coping strategies, and work towards making meaningful changes in your life. I specialize in working with youth (16+) and adults to resolve anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and relational difficulties. The modalities I am training in are:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Exposure and Response Prevention

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

In my free time, I enjoy being in nature, practicing yoga, reading novels, and cozying up with my 2 cats.
