Pronouns They/Them
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Using a range of evidence-based treatments, I provide in-person, telephone, and video counselling to individual youth (14+) and adults.
I am passionate in supporting individuals identify the source of their stuck point, to find new coping skills, to learn effective ways to respond to unhelpful thinking patterns, to develop self-compassion, to discover their own strengths, and to become empowered to work towards achieving their goals. I am here to collaborate and to support my clients to take steps to reach their success, whatever success means for them. While offering an empathetic and non-judgmental presence, I help clients move towards a more fulfilling and meaningful life by challenging their self-limiting beliefs. Aside from being a supportive and good listening human, I am also a proud member of the LGBTQ2S+ community.
I was born and raised in Thailand and moved to North America in 2004. I have the lived experience of learning and integrating cultural differences which supports me in my work with clients from diverse backgrounds. I have a particular focus on anxiety, depression, self-esteem, perfectionism, PTSD and LGBTQ2S+ related challenges. I integrate many therapeutic approaches in my practice to ensure that the counselling experience is effective and suitable for each client. The main approaches that I utilize include:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Solution-Focused Therapy
